Maddie and I are headed to the hospital for thanksgiving with Mommy and Kaitlyn.
It turns out that Kaitlyn had Shingles and the Chicken Pox at the same time.. (both REALLY tough to deal with while you are undergoing chemotherapy). I had a small rash under my arm so they said I couldn't see her until it was ruled out. As of yesterday I had not been able to get the results from the lab, but thank God, our Dr. gave me permission to see her because even if I was positive, the antibiotics I have been on would have made me non-contagious.
Please pray that Kaitlyn and Heather would be able to go home soon... Due to her skin condition being highly contagious to immune suppressed people (side effect of chemo) Kaitlyn has not been able to leave her room since Sunday morning..

I came across your blog this afternoon. I am and will continue to pray for your precious daughter and your family, and that Kaitlyn and Heather would be able to come home very very soon!
May the tender and comforting love of JESUS feel as near to you as the air you breathe. May His peace be your strength.
GOD Bless You,
Cindy Hancock
It's been awhile since I've checked in here. I praying for you and your little ones. Im glad you all got to be together today, that's the most important thing. Doesnt matter how or where as long as you are with each other as a family. Blessings for you and your family.

Continued prayers!!
Many prayers with you all on a wonderful day of Thanksgiving. The most important is, that mommy, daddy and sister where there with her to enjoy the day.
Lot's of love and hugs,
Ariane
I've only just come across your blog about Kaitlyn through a link from wicked_stitches at typepad. I am a cancer survivor (for appx. 1 year now), and a first time grandmother (her name is also Kaitlyn, and she will be one year old in January!). I just want to say that I will be praying for your Kaitlyn each and every day, and will be contributing a knitted pink square to wicked stitches. God bless your whole family...and Godspeed for Kaitlyn's full recovery!
Just wanted you to know that we havent stopped thinking of you and praying for you. My son prays for your daughter often!
loads of love
